Channel 4 - Product Management
This poster focuses on one of the departments that works within the Channel 4 building, thus being the Product Team. The image itself acts as a metaphor; the product team functions like a cog within a bigger mechanism, and in order for it to work successfully they need a collaborative input from all surrounding departments.
Channel 4 Online - Crops
Here’s a closer look into the detail on the poster.
Amongst the madness you can see some dolphins diving alongside a surfer, a lighthouse which is searching out for undiscovered talent, a busy city and a jet skier jumping through a hoop of fire (inspired by the man Kenny Powers)
Channel 4 Online
This piece of work is being printed at A0 for the Channel 4 HQ and is the biggest, most time consuming piece of work I have ever produced. Rocking in at a MIGHTY 2000 layers!!!
So… in this image the Channel 4 Online team are displayed as a busy city with four separate harbors and a business management team, which is represented by the tall central building. All harbors are outputting new products and TV shows to the audience which is shown by the surrounding residential area at the top of the image. Also amongst the island are a number of race cars that represent exactly which departments collaborate with which.
It feels great but also very strange to finally be able to release these posters into the wild after I have been working on them for almost three months now, with lots of back and forth tweaking bits and bobs and adding minor details…phew it’s over and here it is, I hope you like it!
